Europa Bridges
The IMA Bridge is the default means of migrating tokens between mainnet and Europa. Metaport will be used for token transfers between SKALE Chains.
There are two default bridges for moving tokens into and out of the SKALEVERSE, and between SKALE Chains.
IMA Bridge
Users can bridge tokens from Ethereum mainnet to the Europa SKALE Chain via the IMA Bridge. At launch the following tokens are supported: RUBY, SKL, ETH, WBTC, USDT, USDC, USDP, and DAI.
Over time more bridges will be integrated that enable transferring to and from other chains. Find out more in the documentation below:
Metaport
Metaport is SKALE's solution for transferring tokens directly between SKALE Chains, without using Ethereum mainnet as an intermediary hop (which would be slow and expensive).
Any ERC20 token, including tokens that can be bridged from mainnet via the IMA Bridge, can be transferred between Europa and other SKALE Chains. SKALE-native tokens can be transferred to Europa from their origin chains using Metaport for trading and LPing on Ruby.Exchange.
