The Ruby DAO
Power to the People

Community-Controlled Reward Emissions

Ruby.Exchange's initial rewards emissions model follows a "thirdening" approach, whereby distribution is reduced by a third every year, and 69% in the final year.
However, the DAO is able to update distribution rates for yield farmers and NFTs, and so can adjust the parameters for rewards if they deem it necessary--for example, due to fluctuating token price and broader market conditions. In the early days of the project, adjustments are more likely to be regular and significant, due to rapid changes in TVL and the RUBY token price.
Over time, as the Ruby economy stabilizes, updates are expected to be required less frequently. As the community grows, responsibility for all Ruby tokenomic decisions, as well as the overall development and maintenance of the platform, will be handed fully to the Ruby DAO.
